The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) are holding a regional experts’ meeting in Sharjah on integration between social and human sciences and religious values and education, during the period from 10 to 12 October

(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) are holding a regional experts’ meeting in Sharjah on integration between social and human sciences and religious values and education, during the period from 10 to 12 October.

The meeting is aimed to highlight the Islamic perspective on knowledge through a knowledge-based complementarily between the various branches of science and knowledge, and promote education on Islamic values in school curriculum in such a way as to entrench the cultural and civilizational identity of the Muslim Ummah.

It will also seek to anchor an intellectual vision favoring Muslim individuals’ balanced personal development and their ability to rise to the challenges of the information and technology revolution.

Participating in the meeting are experts on the subject from the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, Oman and Iraq, who are expected to present their working papers and outlook on the meeting’s theme.

Ali Rahal, expert at ISESCO Regional Office in Sharjah, is supervising this event on behalf of the Organization.
